COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

COMPETITION

The name of the competition is the “Alternative Reds Ticket Competition”.

PROMOTER

The competition is run by Hither & Yon (ABN 33 880 790 804), 17 High Street, Willunga SA 5172. Telephone: +61 8 8556 2082.

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

The competition commences at 8:00am ACST on Thursday 25 June 2026 and closes at 11:59pm ACST on Sunday 28 June 2026 (“Competition Period”). Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be accepted. By entering this competition, entrants are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.

WHO CAN ENTER

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Employees of Hither & Yon, its related entities, agencies, suppliers, and businesses associated with this competition, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. The winner and their guest must both be Australian residents and aged 18 years or over. Valid identification may be required at the event.

HOW TO ENTER

To enter, eligible entrants must complete the following steps during the Competition Period:

1.         Follow the Hither & Yon Instagram account at @hither_yon; and

2.         Comment on the competition post by tagging a friend

No purchase is necessary to enter. Multiple entries per person are permitted, provided each entry is submitted separately and complies with these Terms and Conditions. Each entrant is eligible to win a maximum of one prize. Incomplete, incorrect, fraudulent, automated, or spam entries may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion.

THE PRIZE

There is one prize to be won.

The prize includes:

• Two general admission tickets to the National Wine Centre’s The Drop In: Alternative Reds event on Friday 3 July 2026; and
• Entry for the winner and one guest to the three-hour tasting session featuring stallholders showcasing alternative red wines.

The prize is valued at AUD $110, based on two tickets valued at $55 each.

The prize is for the winner and one guest only. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or any other prize. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are the responsibility of the winner and their guest, including but not limited to travel, transport, parking, accommodation, food, and any other personal expenses.

The winner and their guest must be available to attend the event on Friday 3 July 2026 at the National Wine Centre, Corner of Botanic Road and Hackney Road, Adelaide SA 5000. The event is operated by the National Wine Centre and attendance is subject to the National Wine Centre’s event terms, entry requirements, and responsible service of alcohol obligations.

DRAW AND WINNER SELECTION

The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries on Monday 29 June 2026. The draw will take place at Hither & Yon, 17 High Street, Willunga SA 5172. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND CLAIMING THE PRIZE

The winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message from the official Hither & Yon Instagram account, @hither_yon, within one business day of the draw. The winner must respond to claim the prize by 10:00am ACST on Wednesday 1 July 2026. If the winner does not respond by this time, is deemed ineligible, or is unable to attend the event, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize from the remaining valid entries. Any redraw will take place at Hither & Yon, 17 High Street, Willunga SA 5172, on Wednesday 1 July 2026. The winner’s first name and/or Instagram handle may be announced on the Hither & Yon Instagram account.

PRIVACY

Personal information collected from entrants will be used for the purpose of conducting this competition, contacting the winner, verifying eligibility, and distributing the prize. By entering this competition, entrants consent to their personal information being used in this way. LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, Hither & Yon will not be liable for any loss, damage, claim, cost, expense, injury, or liability suffered or sustained by any person in connection with this competition or the use of the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies any rights an entrant may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law. If the event is cancelled, postponed, changed, or otherwise unable to proceed for reasons outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the winner or their guest.

By entering, entrants release Instagram from any responsibility or liability associated with this competition. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Hither & Yon and not to Instagram.
