Winter solstice is here, and it is finally beanie, scarf, jackets and boots time down south. After a long, mild summer and autumn and record low, rainfall we have welcomed the recent wetter weather to start our new regenerative farming life cycle for 2024, but it has also been nice to crack into some darker wines, that have been flowing recently.
We have gone all out red on the seasonal list, new releases of our modern classics, Tempranillo, Nero and Shiraz, balanced with the smaller batches, Carignan and Mataro. While these are bold wines, we do think they are not big Sunday roast wines either, perhaps just a big glass, comfy chair and a good book, and your favourite music is the way to go.
