We are happy to report the recent rain has allowed us to get some seed into the ground for our cover crops, and then we can start grazing livestock again through the vines. It has been pleasing to see perennial grasses coming through in the vineyard, (especially as we had no water run off) due to our regenerative farming practices. The late start to the season has given the vines a nice rest and we have started pruning, a key time of year to set up the architecture of what we would like to achieve this year.
