For those that know us well, Aglianico (ah-lee-YAHN-ee-koh) has been a star for us over our journey, culminating in winning the “bushing” trophy for best wine, at the McLaren Vale Wine Show in 2022. That wine was our 2021 vintage, we skipped the 2022 vintage due to a small crop (we made it all for Rosé), so this is the return of Aglianico as a dry red, 2023 vintage but still a small batch, just 77.5 dozen produced.
Hallmarks of the previous vintage, bush herbs aroma, red and black cherries, unfurls a long palate of flinty red and white minerals layered through sublime fruit and savoury tannins.
