We are at it again, on the cusp of our sixteenth H&Y vintage but also festival season, it’s all a bit mad but we always like to keep you up to date, so here we go.
We are picking our Petit Blanc this Wednesday, February 18th, last year we picked it on February 3rd – so yes, we are looking at a late start! This is of course mostly down to the long (very) dry, warm summer so far, and compounded by a very windy week in late January. Vines have slowed down, but are still drawing moisture and nutrients, veraison is ticking away for most varieties. Our well covered, regenerative, organic soils are keeping cool which is vital in seasons like this. Keep an eye on our socials for V26 updates!
