Father's Day - Future View

Founders of Hither & Yon, Richard and Malcolm Leask, often remark of their father, Ian, as being a great innovator of the McLaren Vale wine region, since his early days here in the late 1970’s, with both vineyard operations and land establishment. When Hither & Yon was born in 2011, Ian’s two boys started their own creative path that has led to a full regeneration of their Sand Road home block to alternate, climate adaptive, food friendly grape varieties. A view to the future and also bloody hard work, a family trait.

Richard and Malcolm also have a strong connection to community with their own children and local involvement in schools, charity, sport, and volunteer services. With Father’s Day approaching here is your chance to share with your loved ones, the Leask’s vision but also sticking to their roots, making wines that are easy drinking, for how scarce they are, from their land to your table.
