As we gently warm into summer, minds and palates turn to the simple things - family time, on the porch, down at the shack or beach, fish and chips, ice creams, backyard cricket, reading that book, catching up with mates.
We think wine is a way to help re-wind this time of year down and refresh for the next. So, our summer six is about making it easy to crack a bottle and share with fresh local food and friends, keeping it all light and breezy.
One thing we nicely get comments on, from the top of restaurants to customers in our cellar door, is the salinity, this seaside freshness in our wines. The pristine Fleurieu Peninsula provides the coastal environment and our farming draws the minerality in from our soils. Simple but slightly complex at the same time.
