Our annual community golf day which we proudly support had our best ever result this year, played recently at Willunga Golf Course. Thank you sincerely to all involved - volunteers, sponsors, donators, players, suppliers. Thrilled to share that we raised $20,000 for Surf Lifesaving SA.
In a statement from Surf Lifesaving SA:
“These funds will go directly towards acquiring a new sate of the art drone, which will serve as a key addition to our remotely piloted aircraft systems service. The drone boasts advanced capabilities that will provide real-time visual feedback to our state operations centre. It will also assist with our regular reporting through the Beachsafe app. It’s not just an asset for a single club - it can be deployed across SA wherever it’s needed, from search and rescue missions, shark surveillance, monitoring algal-bloom affected areas to providing live data to emergency services.”
