Falanghina was planted at our Sand Road vineyard in 2021, on its own roots and it has thrived, producing a small first crop in 2024. We were going to leave it, drop the bunches and let the vines rest for next year, but every time we tasted the fruit, we could not believe how good it was, so of course, we picked it. Only 1 barrel, this is our smallest production wine ever, of 25 dozen only. Given the tiny make, we have not done our usual artwork label, just as a cleanskin this year. Lemon myrtle aroma, white peach, almond, and a zesty citrus tang with our trademark saline, sea spray finish.
