Reviews of 2022 Grenache Rosé:
92 points, The Wine Front 2022, Mike Bennie:
The grenache rose is made as a lighter, prettier style compared to the aglianico one. “This is a pretty smart grenache block that’s being going elsewhere. This year we nabbed it back, half for rose, half for bunchy, juicy, bistro style grenache”, explains Malcolm Leask.
Fragrant style, lightly floral, rose hip tea, a bit of red apple and faint cranberry aromas. Light and fine in the palate, silky with a little powdery grip, a bit of fairy floss in the palate amongst the red apple and cranberry drink characters. Very fine, paler in personality but with great detail and texture. Attractive drinking, value packed.
