"There’s exuberance and enthusiasm around Hither & Yon, and they’re making a lot of very good, easy to like, personality-filled wines. Plenty of different grape varieties, blends and general vitality in their set. Nero d’Avola here built for pleasure and speed.
Sloshy, fun little drink but has a touch of class amongst its boardshorts and sandals vibe. Shows up with currant and cherry scents, a touch of sea spray and salt bush, a dash of pepper for good measure. Flavours are sour-cherry, lightly malty, a touch cherry cola-esque and fresh, vibrant, crisp in feel. Slips down without a snag, a supple but bright splash of medium weight juice. My brain went to pizza straight away, the lowbrow but delicious American, topping-laden kind with heretical pineapple or twelve toppings. Yum."

Super juicy and super delicious, this tempranillo is all cinnamon spice and choc-cherry ripe. It's a medium-bodied wine with dark berries and an earthiness that lends itself to chargrilled chorizo or haloumi straight off the BBQ.

Sweet spice and perk acidity invigorate the medium bodied palate, while supple rounded tannins hang in the background. The finish lingers with cinnamon-dappled raspberry pie flavors. Even if only moderately complex, this wine is incredibly easy to sip. Drink now through to 2018.

An easy-drinking and attractive wine, this Portuguese-style red has a palate of dark fruits and chocolate with sinewy tannins and spiced oak. It was made to share around the dinner table, pairing nicely with spicy peri peri chicken to keep up the Portuguese theme.
Gourmet Traveller Wine - 100 Top New Release Wine, 93 points: "You can smell and taste Portugal here, the same notes that come through in Portuguese vintage Port, although not porty in the overripe sense. Black cherry, aniseed; beautifully made and fresh; the palate full bodied and firmly structured, powerful and long-lasting."
