LATEST AWARDS & REVIEWS ON OUR "ALTERNATIVE" APPROACH

As we are all staying home this week, trying to find what to do to keep ourselves busy during lockdown, we wanted to share a few news & articles with you! Hopefully this will help you fill some time & you will learn a thing or two about what it is we're working towards every day.

Firstly, we wanted to show you a snippet of an article from Halliday Wine Companion in which Richard & Malcolm are featured. The article, Alternative No More, covers McLaren Vale's new leaders of the industry taking another path in grape-growing and winemaking. People growing so-called alternative varieties and trying to make them become the new 'normal', if you may. 

 

Lately, we also received some results from the few Wine Shows still going this year.
Firstly, our 2019 Touriga won a Gold medal with 95 points at the
Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show & was reviewed with
93 points in the Wine Business Magazine November-December edition.

At the McLaren Vale Wine Show,
our 2019 Tempranillo was awarded a Gold Medal with 95 points
in the Single Mediterranean Red Varietals category. 

We would also like to share a couple of reviews with you.
First, some really nice words by Mike Bennie from The Wine Front about our 2020 Aglianico Rosé:

A while back, we also had the chance to see our Carignan featured in the Wine & Viticulture Journal. We like to nickname this wine 'Caravan' for its relaxed & easy-going feel.

Lastly, we would like to share with you a couple of article recently published in Wine Selectors. The first one is the Pick of the Pack of their Winemaker's Release article: our 2019 Malbec.

The second and last article, called Breaking New Ground, showcases innovation-leading boutique wineries of Australia who make a difference by thinking outside the box.
